Fast break lay ups must be a lost art since all 4 of our guys still believe a 3 point shot opportunity is a viable solution over a sure lay up. I guess I’m just old school? I’m used to seeing a guy in Murray’s position with the ball driving straight to the hoop for a layup or foul. Not slow down at the 3 point line and allow defense to catch up. Not to mention the other 3 dudes all stopped at the 3 point line too.

Malone is an awesome coach, and I'm glad we have him. He can't make the shots for these guys. That said, he really shoulda pulled Barton and Morris when they were clearly having bad games, and stayed with Zeke, who was having a great game.

SMFH..he actually had the nerve to push back and say one of the first things they also teach is to run to the corner 3 in transition...I wonder if they also taught him to use his head and eyes and run to the hoop if no defender is back in transition....?? These new age players are KILLING the league and worse thing is he clearly didn't learn a damn thing from that disastrous play. He'd do the exact same thing tomorrow.

I think Malone knows the starting lineup should be Facu, Jamal, Zeke, MPJ and Jokic, but doesn't feel the other guys who have been in the team for a longer time would take it nicely. Both Facu and Zeke are showing more effort in defense and offense than Barton and Monte. Barton doesn't care about defense and doesn't provide anything on the offensive side. Monte is selfish, only passing the ball when he knows he has no chance of scoring. I really think Facu, Jamal, Zeke, MPJ and Jokic will give this team their better chances against anyone.
